Get Support from Your Employer

As a community manager, you strive each day to provide accurate guidance to the associations you serve. There are many issues you must address—issues that can have a profound effect on the residents living in your communities. The best way to keep up-to-date and to sharpen your skills is by attending CAI seminars and events.

It is in your community's and/or your company's best interest to support your professional development. In CAI Research Foundation's Community Association Manager Compensation and Salary Survey, 92 percent of survey respondents indicated their employers paid for some or all of their training and education.

NBC-CAM can help you gain that support by providing information you can share with your board members and management company CEO. You can also download specific information to present to your employers. Below is material that demonstrates the importance of training and certification for community managers. If you don't see what you need here, please call our office at (703) 836-6902 or toll-free at (866) 779-CMCA.
